We are celebrating 11 years of hosting a blood drive to make a difference in the local community where our Annual Conference & Expo is held.

Our partner this year is the American Red Cross.

The American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters; supplies about 40 percent of the nation’s blood; teaches skills that save lives; provides international humanitarian aid and supports military members and their families. The Red Cross is a not-for-profit organization that depends on volunteers and the generosity of the public to perform its mission. In addition to carrying out disaster preparedness and response programs, blood collection, health and safety training, international services programs and supporting the military community, the Southern California Region helps communities prepare for, respond to and recover from disasters through its Prepare SoCal  initiatives. APCO is asking all attendees to consider taking time out during APCO 2022 and donate blood. The gift of donation is a personal, powerful choice that could save a life. There is no substitute for blood; it can only come from a volunteer blood donor. During these uncertain times, the demand for blood is higher than ever.
