Home to the largest convention center on the West Coast, Anaheim prioritizes the safety of attendees beyond health and sanitization measures. Here are a few facts about destination safety and why world-renowned conventions and events take place in Anaheim annually.

Safety in Anaheim:

• Advisor Smith listed Anaheim at #9 for “Top Safest Large Cities in the USA” through a study on the safest U.S. cities based upon data provided by the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Uniform Crime Reporting Data Set.
• Anaheim was listed as 4^th safest Metro Cities in America by MeetingsNet in 2019.

Safety on the Anaheim Convention Center (ACC) Campus:

• The ACC Campus encompasses four world-class hotels just steps from the convention center, which means attendees can sleep, eat and meet without taking a car or crossing a street.

Connected by walkable palm tree-lined plazas, the Anaheim Marriott, Hilton Anaheim, Sheraton Park Anaheim Hotel and brand new AAA 4-Diamond Westin Anaheim Resort offer world class dining, nightlife, spa and other services for attendee needs right at their fingertips.

Event Security at the Anaheim Convention Center

• To ensure safety of attendees during events, the ACC requires crowd control/security personnel at every event. On-site security cover areas including Grand Plaza, Arena Plaza, ACC North, exhibition halls, meeting rooms and more. For the interest of public safety, the ACC works with the Anaheim Police Officers or Armed Guard Services for select events.
