Being involved in APCO’s Young Professional Committee has allowed me to see firsthand that there are many young professionals from all over the country trying to make a difference in Emergency Communications. The passion and drive that I’ve witnessed encourages me to believe that the profession is truly destined for great things as these new generations of leaders develop their support network and a deeper understanding of the profession outside of the center.
Some of my best friends and confidants are those that I’ve met through this committee and each year, that list continues to grow!
